An Awareness Seminar on "Endpoint Security" organized on Thursday, November 24, 2022 at BASIS. Mr. Shahzeb Husain was the key speaker of this seminar. Along with that, Ms. Rezwana Khan, representative from advisory standing committee moderated the seminar. A significant number of BASIS member companies were also present at the seminar. Participants actively participated in the question-answer session and clarified their concerns.

DIGITAL SECURITY

On August 12, 2024, the first meeting of the BASIS Standing Committee on Digital Security was held at 3:00 PM in the BASIS Boardroom.

The meeting was presided over by Mr. Lutfor Rahman, Chairman of the committee. Co-chairmen Mr. Shahzeb Husain, Mr. Syed Ur Rahman, Mr. Delwar Alam, Mr. Arif Mainuddin, and Mr. S. M. Nazmul Hasan were in attendance. Also, Senior Vice President M Rashidul Hasan and Mr. Iqbal Ahmed Fakhrul Hasan from the BASIS Executive Council were present. Committee members, including Mr. Md Ahashan Habib, Mr. KMZ Hasan Mahmud, Mr. Pobitro Kumar Modok, Mr. Mamunur Rahaman, Ms. Anjuman Parvin, Mr. Arman Ahmed Khan, Mr. Rifat Hassan, Mr. A.S.M. Shamim Reza, Mr. Md Jahangir Alam, and Mr. Sheikh Abu Ayub Azad, participated in the meeting. The meeting began with introductions, allowing members to acquaint themselves with one another. The primary focus of the meeting was to discuss the action plan for the next two years, outlining key objectives and strategies to enhance digital security initiatives and foster collaborative efforts within the sector.

on July 28, 2022, a seminar on Email Security and Social Media Awarness was held at BASIS Auditorium. The seminar was started by BASIS Director Mr. Mostafizur Rahman Sohail, moderated by Mr.Shahzeb Ibn Hossain and Mr. Nurul Islam Chowdhury and Mr. Tanveer Hasan Joha were present as distinguished speakers. About 50 company representatives were present in the seminar.
